Well today was supposed to be a bust. The weather forecast had called for rain all day. At around noon, there was a break in the weather so I decided to go to a local garden at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, and then for a hike.
The garden was huge, much bigger than any other I had been to. It was nestled in the middle of a golf course. It was quite beautiful. Shortly after arriving, it began to rain. And it rained off and on the entire time. Just before I left, the sun poked through the clouds.
Tulips happen to be at the top of my flowers list. I really enjoy their colors and shape. I had fun shooting the closeups below.
I came across a patch of beautiful Grape Hyacinth. As I was shooting photos and video, I noticed that the bees had come out after the rain and were busy gathering from the Hyacinth. I worked hard to get a decent shot of the bees and my timing worked out for this one shot below to catch the bee in between flowers.
I am including some video here in the middle of the pix.
Today was one of those days when everywhere you look, there are pictures.
Concluding this post with a few pix, including one of yours truly. The photo to the right of me is a close up of an oregami garden. It was called the Spring Senbazuru.. There were hundreds of these birds throughout this particular wooded area.
